I’m an Australian food writer based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I write and photograph stories about food and the people who grow, make and cook it, focusing on the intersections between food, sustainability and travel.

In 2014, I moved to the Piedmont region of Italy to study a Masters in Food Culture & Communications at the University of Gastronomic Sciences. I stayed on there for about four years, living for most of that time in Turin.

My work’s been published in print and digital titles including Vice Munchies, Gourmet Traveller, Lonely Planet, Modern Farmer, delicious., The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, SBS Food, The Sunday Telegraph, The Telegraph, Organic Gardener, Country Style, Broadsheet Sydney, Time Out Sydney and ABC Radio National Online. I especially love writing about agriculture, producers and foodsmiths; beekeeping and honey; foraging and wild edibles; and all things Italy and Turin.

I’m also a little bit obsessed with making fresh pasta.
